beautiful bondi beach day

There was a kid at Bondi Beach who dug a hole in the sand deeper than he was tall. I didn't take a photo because he's a kid, but he inspired me to dig, so I did.

In other news, the waves were again amazing today. For the last few days there's been a quite a deep section right where the waves reach the shore and then shallow for about 20 or 30 meters before it gets deep again.

There were a few terrific waves today which ruffled up a lot of sand in the deeper portion of the water, so that was pretty neat.

Now I'm wishing I'd taken more pictures but we got this one photo in the gardens. There was a neat photo op of people up on the Sydney Harbour bridge and the Opera House itself is always iconic.

It's so funny that after being here just a few times within 5 weeks I'm like "eh I've seen it before," but now that I am hella leaving I'm like "oh damn I should have taken more pictures."

Today I fixed my image uploader to create 1000px x 1000px images as well as thumbnails. yay!

Now I just need to tell the index.php file to not create thumbs for the 1000px images, but do show the 1000px images if they exist
