We took off ten minutes early, and I've just had a nice nap. Got several neat pictures on the way up, but I wonder if I'll ever post them.

ps: I'm nearly done with proof of concept of my days old counter, but I have just discovered the dateDiff library I snagged doesn't allow dates from the 1800s. Do I care? Hmmmm.

While he's at work tomorrow, I can go shopping on his bike; everything is great.

On flight CX171 to Perth. 7 hour flight. Air is dry; toe skin is cracked and painful. Sinuses clogged; head hurts; keep getting woken up by two women speaking loudly in a language I don't understand.

Breakfast was lots of veggies for me and a larger variety for Lin. The restaurant had a Pepper robot in front, but it wouldn't follow me when I beckoned it. It faced me, but didn't come with me.

Gotta pack and bounce outta here.

I'm the first person in the departure lounge!

The bus was pretty much full: full sized, and full of people. Plus there was another bus which left at the same time. Plenty of travelers woke up early in that hotel.

Safely in Honkers, and just waiting for my flight, scheduled to leave in 70 minutes. Is it normal to not have a gate listed yet? Hmmm.

I just overheard the answer from an airport employee:

"Oh! Too early. Long time. Because long time no boarding gate."

At 3pm (2pm local time) the gate was listed: 71.

Walking past all the shops and stuff from gate 44 area to gate 71, I realized I feel hungry. Then I realized I have no local currency. D'oh!
