canceling plane tickets

I'm cancelling my plane tickets for Perth.

And getting new ones so I will be in Perth longer!!

After receiving an email detailing the weekend schedule (which starts on Thursday night), I was like O_o at seeing how much container-building I would miss by arriving Friday late morning. "Oh shit," so I bit the bullet, asked for help covering my classes, and am about to cough up cash to make it happen.

Once the change is confirmed, I need to update three calendars:

1. Mine
2. --JB's--
3. Stephen (my contact in Perth)'s

first i group meeting in a while

We met at Takeshi's tonight, our first meeting in over a year, I imagine. The last meeting I called in an emergency being all confuzzled about junk, though the issues mostly resolved by the time the meeting happened.

This meeting was called from a much more sane and golden space: I'm going to staff NWTA in October, and I'd like to help our I-group grow.

2. Look for lists of email lists
3. ask to be on leadership email lists
4. Announce myself as point person for Tokyo integration group

pop pop chaos almost has a chat box

I just need to:

1. Figure out how to save users' names to a consistent var when they

log in

1. Fix the CSS for the chat box, which I'll call "Pop Pop Chats"
2. Add tabs to flip between chat box and leaderboard and nothing
3. Do all the other work I should be doing instead >__>

Goodness! After waiting in line to get cash from ATM, the machine apparently couldn't read my card. I went upstairs and they were like, "yup, it can't read your card!"

"And your address isn't up to date, so we can't send you a new one until you update your address, and we can't update your address without a little wooden stick with your initials on it."

Aww man....
