Made some updates on demo3 of the CB site with Satomi.

Today she told me she has an old iMac that will show the Apple icon, but won't otherwise boot. I suggested we have a party to take it apart and see if we can fix it!

I'm guessing just the hard drive is fooked so replacing that might fix it... かな。。

impossible puzzle

At the toy store I found a take-apart puzzle featuring two loosely linked nails bent into trianglish G shapes. They are loosely linked, but they're hard as nails, and I cannot seem to get them separated. Seriously, it looks like they've been mis-created (with automation, is that even possible??) or somehow "forced" into an unsolvable state. But they are so hard, I can't seem to force them back.

I took a picture of a solvable version and an unsolvable version, so get ready to see those images online within the next 1000 years when I think about it, have time, and have internet access to post them.

This past Sunday, Lin and I went to the end of the Keikyu line, then took a bus to Jogashima, which had sedimentary rocks tilted at about an 80 degree angle in some places.

It was great fun, and worth its own entry!

This past Saturday, Mikako joined us to watch Jurassic World in IMAX 3D. It was okay, but I thought the third movie was better.

A couple days ago I started tracking my caloric intake with My Fitness Pal after a doctor told me I'm overweight. Shocking!!
