Entries this day: first-赤羽橋-lesson kamata-terminal lessons-at-toshiba nice-lesson-with-the-ms sigh...-lets-spell-lets-correctly first 赤羽橋 lesson ##10:20 Tuesday 11 November 2014 JST## Today was my first lesson in 赤羽橋, a station whose kanji I cannot really read yet, though I know each kanji individually if I read slowly. The lesson is a beginner level lesson, though I think the article I brought was a bit too difficult for the level. I'll bring an easier article next time. Only two students: A on the left wearing a necklace made by her friend ten years ago, and A on the right with all his mobile devices. permalinkkamata terminal ##10:31 Tuesday 11 November 2014 JST## Aw man, this train terminates one station before where I need to go. I'll (possibly remember to) look more carefully next time. permalinklessons at toshiba ##18:43 Tuesday 11 November 2014 JST## Another first lesson today: 'twas the first time I taught at Toshiba science museum near Lazona in Kawasaki. I taught three lessons to three individuals, all of whom wore the same uniform, so I'm not sure I could readily identify them in a lineup, but the lessons were fun and I hope I will get to go back after tomorrow, when I'm scheduled to be there for three hours. The lessons ran from 4pm and they ended promptly at 6pm so I made it in plenty of time to M&M lesson tonight. I'm at Mini Stop having my customary vanilla ice cream cone. permalinknice lesson with the ms ##21:30 Tuesday 11 November 2014 JST## M has been studying hard; he prepared a presentation of his company's products. Really neat to hear how gpleats are created! M brought blueberry flavored chocolate balls! She explained how her other teacher didn't check her homework, so I checked it for her. permalinksigh... lets spell lets correctly ##23:08 Tuesday 11 November 2014 JST## C'mon guys; surely for a billion dollars someone can be hired to spellcheck this stuff. ;-) From https://mcupdate.tumblr.com/post/102272891284/hi-bonjour-ciao-hola-czesc permalinkprev day next day |
