Almost late

8:52am JST Saturday 3 October 2009 (day 14437)

Soness was very close to late on her way out the door, so I helped her out by riding to the station with her and parking her bike in the bike parking lot. I used my parking pass to drop off her bike, and I'll use it again to drop of my bike when I go get my real bike, TJ Bike.

Beach

11:44am JST Saturday 3 October 2009 (day 14437)

On the way back home after helping Soness get to her train, I took a detour to stroll on the beach! Glad I did cause there was a cool rainbow down the beach from me (is there ever an uncool rainbow????)

I took a few pics and then headed the other direction where I noticed the beach was all covered in sand, whereas a week ago there were big splotches of gravel that had been poured at frequent intervals along the beach. They were all covered by sand, and I though I could discern slightly raised beach where they had been.

Found my twig log and got a picture while sitting on it.

Found the robot trying to get out of the beach, and while helping him out, I discovered he has four fingers and not just three!

I was so excited that I forgot to take a picture and collected some verigated rocks instead. I'm thinking I might buy a rock tumbler and polish them, just like back in the day (10 ~ 12 years old???, polishing rocks taken from the railroad tracks behind our house.)

Forgot keys

11:54am JST Saturday 3 October 2009 (day 14437)

I got home after the beach, dropped off my new rocks (new???) on the counter, had a bowl of granola while using Firefox in Private Browsing mode, had another bowl of granola while researching frameworks for Python, then checked the train schedule and realized I had to leave in like 35 minutes!

Good thing I had already put laundry in the washer; it finished just as I needed to catch the train, but I had left plenty of time.

Rode out toward the station, then "D'oh!" I realized "I don't have my keys to TJ Bike!" So I rode back while mentally searching for them in my brain. I couldn't find them for sure, and for sure couldn't find but one once I got back. So it's 50% possible that I won't be able to move TJ Bike today at all until I find the other key or cut the lock (which I'd hate to do; it's a really nice lock)

So I'm definitely later than I had hoped, but I *still* might make it in time (I had left 2 hours leeway in which I need to walk from Hirama to TJ Bike, take TJ Bike to the shop, then walk to Kosugi, and then from Tachikawa to RC class.

If I can't move TJ Bike, I'll have loads of time.

Robot

12:03pm JST Saturday 3 October 2009 (day 14437)

Not R.O.B.O.T., my religion, but Robot, my friend, is trying to crawl out of the sand at the beach in Chigasaki. I met him last weekend when he had only 1 finger slightly out of the sand. I helped him get three fingers out on that day, and gave him three rings: one for each finger, and then a bracelet. Today helped him get one more finger out! I found some more bracelets for him to wear; I hope he likes them.

TJ Bike

2:39pm JST Saturday 3 October 2009 (day 14437)

Fortunately,

  1. only the white lock was locked, so I had the keys

  2. the shop was open

  3. repairs should cost less than 20,000 yen

  4. I had plenty of time to get to Tachkiawa

  5. TJ Bike will be ready to go next Saturday!

As a bonus, I found I had both keys all along, in my back pack, which I carry with me almost everywhere.

Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures, but oh well.

Tachikawa RC

2:44pm JST Saturday 3 October 2009 (day 14437)

This is the day I arrived at 2:30pm, and they asked me to come back at 3pm. Fair enough. Everyone knows the class starts at 3pm.

8:23pm JST Saturday 3 October 2009 (day 14437)

Class was good and full of triggers for various people, so we got to work on those things.

This was the first day Mamiko joined our class. She reframed the way I've seen my nose, and actually seemingly magically healed it from just the right nostril working to both nostrils working. Wow.

After the class, Tatiana and I traded talking time, and I told her "yeah, I'm in my old pattern again of wondering if I'm going to marry Mamiko," etc, and I realized something: that I've been doing this since I was 10 or 12 years old. I remember Ladonna was the daughter of the neighbors who moved in next door, and I thought, "hmmmmm; maybe I'll marry her," so this pattern may be deeper than what it appears.

How can I look at this more objectively? I mean the pattern.
