Ah frack. I realized this morning that I haven't checked Yurika's homework from this week. Dang. I've always tried to finish it within 24 hours, but with the Talks I've been having with Ami, and the stress I've felt financially, I totally blanked.

My friend Carl asked if I can sit for a portrait he'd paint toward his PhD. Today was the big day; four ink on paper, with wet ink and Japanese paper happy to soak it up and blur everywhere. One of the paintings didn't make the cut.

Now eating 480 yen soba for lunch in Ueno Station.

A couple weeks ago Andrew offered to loan me some cash to pay my rent, and today I called him to see if the offere was still open. I'll meet up with him tomorrow for lunch or so.
