Had my second shiatsu lesson at The Kimura's apartment Institute today; I think I remember all the elements he showed me.

1. hands on shoulders

2. one hand pull shoulder back; other support spine

3. other shoulder

4. thumbs along back of shoulders

5. finger knuckle down left side of spine

6. right side of spine

7. support wrist, inside arm sqeeze

8. outside arm squeeze

9. tween thumb and finger squeeze

10. thumb through pinky squeezes

11. roll arm forward three times, then elbow bend over head

12. other arm

13. three lines on neck

14. three lines on other side

15. head roll and lift

16. with knee support, thumbs down on top of shoulders

17. walk thumbs down sides of spine

18. knee support spine, bring shoulders back

19. arms back

20. elbows bent

21. chicken wings

22. brush down spine

Visited LeafCup Cafe to check out the possibly of working there. The place seems pretty close to what I'd like, but I get the sense that it wouldn't be quite optimal. Can make between 1000 and 1800 yen per hour, for like 3 or 5 hours a day, but in group lessons, which are not my favorite. Hmmmm.

Painting for Beans

I've now officially got a scan of Colleen's painting! They gave me a .pdf, .jpg, and .tif version of the scan, at something like 5MB, 75MB, and 177MB respectively.

They look good.

I listened to one of the CDs in the first Clairvision knowledge track tonight, and I plan to do so again, but this time without using my computer to play the CD. The disc label indicates "CD 5" and "Practical 2.1"
