Did em anyway

Despite having been up late watching Ghost Ride the Whip, getting a primer on Bay Area hip hop culture and therefore waking up a bit late this morning, I did my meditation and reiki stuff anyway. Used to be that I would skip 'em, wanting more my internet connection than my meditation connection.

I've also noticed recently that I've had less interest in kicking my brain off to sleep with a porn-induced orgasm. Like I haven't done this in like a week or less. Pretty sure not this week. But it could just be that I've been so flippin' tired, working long hours.

And it could also be that meditation practice has connected my energy with energy that doesn't need to do that anymore.

Didn't get quite as much done at work today as I wanted, but did get a good deal done. Basically designing the DB for keitai sites, writing a bit of PHP to create HTML / javascript to support choosing data (colors) for appropriate fields of the DB, and writing a note to self to get my brain synched on Monday.

akikio and rimi

Great time with Akiko and Rimi tonight. We spent an hour in Seikaido where I bought a bunch of white boards and some POSCAs with which I plan to make some colorful pieces, and some canvas boards and a paint brush and eraser. Oh, and some multi-purpose cleaner, including for oil. Sweet! I'm all art-supplied.

Then to an okonomiyaki place where I enjoyed chatting with them and at one point realized my thoughts were everywhere but present, so I recentered and felt a better connection with reality. That was nice. Soon thereafter they asked me if I had ever been seduced by a man. I told them about my four different experiences.

hiromi meets U Cow

In Shibuya station, a woman looked over with a happy surprised look to reconfirm she had seen a cow on my chest. I gave her one of U-Cow's cards and was happy to find that she speaks pretty good English, and happened to *also* be headed to Motosumiyoshi!

I nearly gave Cow to her for a the weekend, but she said she couldn't give him back until next Friday when she will be going to Nigata. Hmmm... so I was like, "gimme da cow; upload the pics you have now, and then I'll give you cow again before your trip."

She agreed that was a good idea and took some more pics at the train station entrance. Awesome! Here's hopin' they get uploaded and Cow finds a great new travelin' buddy!
