Entries this day: Dream Mac_dying New_alien_card TJ_Bike_parked apple_store dying_in_ISIS Dream 7:49am Tuesday 22 July 2008 (day 13,999) I was doing reiki, and Jackie Purdy came up all, "what are you doing?" and I explained it, and she was like, "cool; can I watch?" and she sat on me (while I was laying down) (there were sheets in between, so no funny business) while I did reiki charging, and I asked her to tell me if she could detect any changes in energy. - - - - Watching an after school special, Mr T was a dentention teacher who came down on a kid, saying, "you can't leave detention until you come up with one million dollars," and walked away. As soon as he was gone, the guy in front of the student turned around and said, "if you cancel any of *my* million dollar deposits in your enterprise, I'm gonna be mad," or something, and the kid was like, "but if I don't cancel yours, whare am I gonna get the money?" and the next part was meant as comedy, for the second kid was like, "well, you can get it from this magazine ad, or this somethin' or that somethin'" and just kept placing magazines on the table in a sort of character-development technique showing just how much money the kid controlled, and in what kind of investments he had it. permalinkMac dying 11:34am JST Tuesday 22 July 2008 (day 13999) My computer is powering off, even though it's got its battery and it's plugged into the wall socket. I even removed the battery to see if the old battery was triggering a power down, but it still died. And the first time it died was while Skyping with Ma who's at SWUUSI!!! I miss all you guys!! aauuugggghhhhh!! permalinkNew alien card 10:14am JST Tuesday 22 July 2008 (day 13999) Dang. Getting my new alien registration card (my old one expired last year) was SO EASY. It was free and only took my name, signature and about 5 minutes. In fact, I didn't even get a new card; they just updated my old card. Not doing this a long time ago cost me about 4 hours of Jennie with a G's 5th of July party. (cause my card was expired and I had no proof of legal residency, I had to roll back home to get my passport). I woke up early with the plan to get started, got sidetracked on alien-somethin' website (30 second animated movie summaries, starring bunnies), then got TJ Bike out and headed to the local government office ready to fill out forms and pay to get my mug shot shot etc etc and wait a couple weeks.... But no; it was so easy. (I've still got bad memories from the first time I got my card, and the first time I had to replace my card after my wallet was removed from my possession. Upon the second making, I wasn't allowed to use the same photographs as the first time even though they had been taken within the correct amount of time. I don't even know how the guy knew they had been used before. Anyway, with that kind of madness still in my memory, I put this off for months and months. permalinkTJ Bike parked Rolled TJ Bike back to Kosugi station and found the bicycle parking area has been expanded, which is good, right? BUT, the second level of parking has been removed, thereby effectively keeping the same number of parking spaces, but doubling the amount of real estate required. How's that for American-style waste of space? I'm pretty surprised from both a real estate usage point of view, and a business point of view. They could have twice as much income for the same amount of rent. I wonder if insurance for the second level racks is so much higher or something. Weird. permalinkapple store 5pm Tuesday 22 July 2008 (day 13999) wrong form at post office despite translation via phone. and it took so long. hard to understand what they didnt understand. Met Sumiyo at Apple store and helped her English a bit. She said I was a good teacher so I said I was lookin for students and she said she'd seriously consider it. I told her 3000 yen per hour, but then was thinking I shoulda lowered it, or mentioned the first lesson is free, or 2 hours for 5000 yen, etc.. Anyway, I've seen her there before; I'll see her again. permalinkdying in ISIS 11pm Tuesday 22 July 2008 (day 13999) Back to work installed XP on an HP Compaq machine but couldn't get a network driver for it. Gave up and headed to meditation: Helma, Kevin, Romi and I at Romi's house. Did ISIS with Kevin as my connector, and it was quite cathartic as I experienced a death and its related sadness and totally transmuted it to the freedom of having died and being free of my body. It was great and I was like let's do that again! At dinner after meditation, Kevin mentioned some of his favorite movies, and then was telling us about his remote viewing course which I'll hopefully be taking in September. The course sounds fun of course and Kevin said the practice helps with any spiritual work, in that we practice perceiving subtle energies. permalinkprev day next day |
