Played FriendsForSale on Facebook this morning a bit. Francois and I are beginning to make a bit of money. Francois moreso, it seems; he has been more accepted by a pretty popular / rich crowd featuring Erin Cahill with about $4M +.

I have been focusing on my favorite owner Sabrina Mendoza, who is now worth probably 10 times what I first paid for her. Mark Ramm and I had been buying her back and forth over weeks on end, and just recently someone bought her from me for just under $400K. so I bought her back immediately. We'll see how that goes.

Too bad it's all just a game and keeping me from focusing on things that I think are "important"! Like journal / painting / writing / fly2.nu.

Man, fuck FFS; those things have got to have priority.

Headed to Lawson's

Last night Akiko and I hung out at the Lawson's next to EV where I used to work (and therby met her).. so I had been to the Lawson's a million times and met everyone so I was chatting with Ai and a new girl, though I didn't get her name.

I'm going to go back this morning to say H to Tsunashima; I haven't been there in the morning for a while so haven't seen him. Ai said I should come by because everyone was crying wondering if I'd ever come back. I'm glad when Japanese can be sarcastic. It's such an underappreciated form of humor here!

3. * weekly meditation to get a better list (oh, arguably I'm doing that now)

4. * ask Cedric if he'd be willing to trade lunch for card design input

6. * financially I might have to move one or both ??

7. * Upload remainder of Cow pictures to UCow's site

8. * Set up other computer with FFS on refreshEvery for me and Francois

9. * check payment status for HK tickets

10. * confirm HK plans with Ami

I didn't get everything done today. Naps were involved. I've pulled these out to do tonight:

1. email flowers to janette

2. Write a monthly update to Kim

3. finish my little black lines canvas

4. * get ALL pics of UCow on his site

5. * import pics from my camera

6. * get those pics of UCow on his site as well

7. upload pictures of three rocks to smugmug

8. blog about my camera's new game-playing (etc) abilities

9. * upload more pictures to get them off MacBook

10. create fly2.nu/wiki and list the various stages of the sites in the fly2.nu network

11. * go to bed at midnight, despite the status of this list

My computer is getting sick

My computer has been acting wonkily at times recently. I'm sure it will end up needing to replace the mainboard or some such, which is nice enough that it's under warranty, of course, but sucks that I'll have to lose my machine for some days to get the work done.

Just now my mouse has stopped working properly. The pointer moves, but clicks are ineffective, and the dock doesn't even appear when the mouse hovers near it. It's like the pointer is moving, but in a separate plane from the computer.
