Okay, I'm preparing this journal entry just before I go to bed, the idea being that I can just hit timestamp (C-c T) and it will be easier to write than actually creating the new entry (C-c s D r e a m . h t m l C-r y). Good night!

I remembered not to start a new entry and to just start a timestamp, and I wrote word by word what I wanted to write then realized I was still dreaming.

I received a travel membership card in the mail, and was happy I could travel. I wondered if Ami could also come, but I couldn't read the Japanese on the card. There was a pictre of a single person traveling and also a person traveling with an animal, so figured the animal could be another person.

Intarweb

Laura and I chatted about our history and therefore the history of the Tubes. I recalled gopher, found a gopher server written in Perl (and one in Python). The Perl one can't be installed on my Dreamhost account, but I'm not sure about the Python one yet. Probably also can't, but I *might* try to get gopher://gopher.robnugen.com/ working just for kicks.

The connection from Yamanote Line to Sobu Line in Shinjuku is easier than I guessed: just walk across the platform. I've been to Shinjuku countless times using the Yamanote Line, but never memorized the name of the line across from it. Just went to wherever else I was going.

Reiki attunement one

Just had my first Reiki attunement with Èþ°¡, from my meditation group with Helma. I enjoyed chatting with her, and enjoyed the session, which could be as simple as enjoying having her attention for 2.5 hours.

I didn't notice any energetic shifts, but I did notice an intellectual schism

She suggested that drinking water like glug glug glug glug glug was detrimental to circulation and could be a factor in why my hands are always cold.

Woah.

She suggested warm water, and sips instead of glugglugluglugglug

I slept 4 hours today, by Ami's calculation. It could be a result of reiki, or just a result of a holiday today. but, it is unusual for me to sleep so long during the day.
