Nice. Or maybe not cause it means I actually have to do stuff for work instead of just surfing and playing on my site.

I've got my .ssh/id_rsa.pub key added to the authorized keys of the server I'm supposed to be working on, so *now* I can actually connect to it with my machine and not all this time wasting biznass of using Japanese Windows to connect with a Red Hat machine.

Wha?? I'm not sure why I didn't look more carefully into this rumor before, but after reading the README of flowplayer, I see

To compile FlowPlayer you need following tools:
* mtasc compiler (http://www.mtasc.org)
* swfmill (http://iterative.org/swfmill)
* Ant (http://ant.apache.org)
* as2ant (http://www.as2lib.org)

You need to set up as2ant targets for Ant. I have configured as2ant targets using 
Eclipse's integrated Ant configuration (Eclipse/Preferences/Ant/Runtime/Tasks). 
After that you should be able to buld FlowPlayer using Ant. There is no need to
use the Adobe/Macromedia Flash tool at all, everything can be done using these tools.

I've read bunches of books that remind me to be here now. I've been living in such a manner more intentionally the past couple of days.

Like instead of reading, talking to Ami last night while she was cooking.

Leaving work so that I have time to meet Ami without rushing.

Walking gently to the bus; I have plenty of time.

Roppongi

I won't argue that Roppongi represents the opposite of living mindfully, but I can attest that when Ami and I left Roppongi, I was a lot less inclined. Perhaps it was all the stinky smoke. Perhaps it was the crazy-violent movie segments on repeat (Deathproof and Terrorplanet).

Fun times talking to JC from ultimate. Pretty fun listening to him, Ami, and her friend Tama chatter in Japanese. Glad to know he's been here 8.5 years. He speaks English, French, Japanese, and perhaps others.
