Entries this day: Money Today magnetic-microchips Money 9:38pm JST Saturday 01 October 2005 Laughter and tears and joy as I discover an envelope of money that I had stashed in a drawer and forgotten. Surprising thing is that I stashed it at the end of P/B (I think), but don't have any memory of it. I either stashed it then or *before* P/B, which could well be because I had been feeling pretty flush with cash at that time. In any case, it's a welcome addition to my life. permalinkToday 9:40pm JST Saturday 01 October 2005 Today I have been off my computer mostly, because of the power supply being in P/B office. I am sorta packing, and have a huge mess of stuff strewn across my (Kellie's) room. Progress is being made. With this cash, I am well more likely to send stuff home (to janette). permalinkmagnetic microchips ##01:39 Saturday 01 October 2005 Magnetic Microchips Replaces Electronic Semiconductor Wow. I don't presume to know how electronic chips work, nor how magnetic chips work, but I do understand things like "smaller" and "do not generate heat" This is super important to me as my computer gets scorching hot after just several minutes of being on unless I use an external fan. permalinkprev day next day |
