I was on Pb's next voyage, and going to some of the same places which now began to feel like home. We were also going to some new places: Nicaragua and elsewhere.

I was in the pool up on the 8th floor, but it was in a room like in a hotel. After I came down for dinner, a whole line of people were going to the pool; it was like the line of Sneeches going to get stars, but they were going to get in the pool, and then leaving just as quickly.

I didn't understand why I wasn't aware of the schedule, and hoped I wasn't missing anything.

Whoo!! I got my tickets to Tel-Aviv today! I'm excited and a bit wondering how everything is going to connect, particulary regarding money. I'm about $200 short of what they suggest I have once I arrive ($100 per week) for my 5+ week adventure. I trust everything will work out nicely. Feel free to send me cash via paypal.

After he called me for 10 minutes, I had a good chat with Fred, which focused a bit on Chez, and then other matters, including his officemate Shaolie, who may be able to get me in touch with someone from Libiya, in an attempt to meet some people on that side of the world before I go.

On my way now to chow dinner with Tomoko and Sumidasan and Hitomi. I invited her to chow with us, and invitation she initially declined, and then accepted. I don't really know what her thinking was, but ah well.

Dinner was nice; Tomoko told me about her latest business interest and said she would pay me for time spent helping with her website.
