Entries this day: AM Chow Done Fastest_lesson AM 11:45am HST Monday 24 August 2005 Last night we did not enter a new timezone, but tonight we will, and we will celebrate the disappearance of August 25th in a funny one hour day. permalinkChow 3:45pm HST Monday 24 August 2005 I'm kinda wandering around today. There is shit to be done, but I think I got my part of it done. I slept in late today until like 12 noon. Hitomi wrote me another letter last night. Today is the day I went to Topaz to eat and sat with Aki from my class and two other girls I don't know. I talked to Christina, my favorite Bulgarian (and waitress) a bit and she was funny. Oh, we had to hurry, so Aki ate her cake in two bites and I ate mine in one bite. permalinkDone 5:51pm HST Monday 24 August 2005
Funny: during the *FANTASTIC* performance-team presentation (on which Pat spent a great deal of time, and was really the type of teacher I wanted to be on this voyage) there was a really funny line: "The Statue of Liberty is a great dancer!" permalinkFastest lesson 11:40pm HST Monday 24 August 2005 I'm about to practice with Brandt for the one hour day.. we are doing the open lessons, and he seems to have taken it over. I volunteered to do it originally. (Thanks to wonderful Kim) I had a plan for the beginner version (variants of "time flies"), and had my plan for the high level lesson (discussion of time dilation according to Einstein's theories) and then Brandt came in with his idea and there became no room for my ideas. permalink |
