Dream

He asked me again to bring in the collected toilet paper roll projects. I was like, "oh; sorry for forgetting; I keep getting sidetracked," and I began to work on it. But it was almost too late.

We heard in the distance the high pitched whirling scrawling sound of the locusts coming through. I was like, oh, fuck! and grabbed as many of the larger designs that I could with one hand and put some more in my shirt like a kangaroo pouch.

We ran inside just as the screaming sound blasted by the house, and I watched the swarm squeal by like a huge undulating flying serpent.

I took some pictures, and some of them turned out really well, capturing individual insects in flight, but still giving an overview of the hoarde.

今日私のレーソンは楽しかった。でも私は新しいのグラマー勉強したくなかった。

Today's lesson was fun, but I didn't want to study new grammar.

That's actually not true; [didn't want to] is the new grammar that I studied.

レーソンのあと、大きい本やで新しい本お買いなかった。でも本やを見なくなかった。

Work

I had one lesson at work at 2:30 (Shoko, who I've had once before in March or so) and then a big fat break so I closed all those lessons, went to Shibuya, and bought the workbook for Genki Japanese vol I. And I went ahead and bought the book and workbook for volume dos.

During the rest of the break, I finished the first 1.5 chapters of workbook I. Tomoko checked my answers and made some corrections.

Taught Masashi's last class; I was honored that he said he wanted me to be his private teacher. He knows that it's not allowed though.
