Whoopie!!

Awright. We met Diane at the house; she was quite smiley impressed! We (she) wrote an offer for $200,000. Drove around for a bit to compare similar houses. All were priced above his asking price. And all of them we liked less than ours. So we re-wrote the offer as $220,000, 9 smackers below his asking price.

Just got a call back from Diane; he's not willing to go below asking price. So she's typing up the offer for the full $229,900.

We should get an answer back from the lender this afternoon!

Wheee!!!!

I'm a teeny bit jumping the gun here, but we just signed the re-typed Earnest Money thing and will submit it to the seller/realtor. Diane said, "you'll get the loan," just cause we're putting several dollars down payment on it. Oh my gosh so happy so thankful!!!!

Our intended closing date is May 1. I am open to it being sooner, but we'll see.

Okay. I'm going to work work work now. yes.

Ohmygosh I just am too excited to work!!

They want to close on April 15th. I called my landlord and he said no problem as long as they can show it while I'm still there (and please keep it clean (yikes, he has no idea how messy it is now!) "no problem," I said).

I shared my excitement with Deborah, who related similar stories of life working perfectly if it's God's Will (her words).

Inspectors are supposed to come on Friday to look at the place (cool; that's St Patrick's Day), and I am just giddy with excitement.

'know what else is perfect? That Wende got today off work. She came in with me, but Patrick (not St Patrick) didn't have any work for her. So today she's been able to work with Diane, and this is just happening so perfectly.

I have a bit of fear about paying the note of $1500 per month, but I am trusting this is the right thing to do; trusting the Higher Self whispering Yes.
