After Arenal Lodge, we still hadn't really seen jungle like we wanted, so we hiked behind Tabacon. First I took another pic of the bar pool thing.
We hiked up up up a trail through the jungle, and saw a cool vine with aerial roots, then up up up a huge field horses and a cow guarded by huge trees. (notice the horses in the lower right corner?)
Here's a palm tree thing that was in the same field.
After our trek behind Tabacon, I basked in the most amazing massage. The water is warmly heavily cascading down in a curtain, and I literally exclaimed, "OH MY GOD" when I first sat with my lower back in the stream. Oh my god.. that was so so so so so amazing. That water massage was even better than the person massage for which I had paid extra.
