Soaked and dripping, but with a dry camera, I found Kathryn with Peter and Agathe in an open air restaurant. I ordered a nice glass of my new favorite drink, guanabana. For our entertainment, across the street, was a tree full of monkeys.
They were so cute!!
They seemed pretty much oblivious to we human monkeys on the ground watching and taking pictures. They would wrestle and play and chill and bounce around like a bunch of monkeys!
These two pictures were taken pretty close together in time: First, the monkey above was hanging and simply swinging. The monkey below him kinda swatted at him, so he held on with his hind legs, swinging, grappling with the monkey below! Such dexterity brought me delight and envy.
It took me a long time to wait for this pic of five monkeys chillin.
