Entries this day: dream-sitting-on-the-end-of-a-train dream-tunnel-to-beach i-missed-santas-appearance met-shuhei dream sitting on the end of a train Sitting on the end of a train car as we were headed into a station and I saw a sign that indicated Train 131 to Austin was late and then my car turned around and the coupler started to come out from between them and then I was like oh shit and I lifted my feet up. permalinkdream tunnel to beach Fred and someone had been walking to the beach through a tunnel system that was built into the hill of the street so that we could walk from his room and then basically straight to the beach though the hill of the street went up the hill so it was into like a angled grating along the stream of the street that we went into and then he was carefully quietly closing the great behind us not because it was unallowed but just to be polite and then we were walking forward in the tunnel under the street. permalinki missed santas appearance Today Lin and I went to a kind of grassroots community center and I got to play Santa Claus in pajamas for about 20 little kids who were there. I felt really nervous at first and went through stages of being okay and uncomfortable. The while thing lasted about thirty minutes before Santa left and I hopped out the window and came in the front door all like "where's Santa?" Other performances included singing Christmas carols (one verse each), oh and singing a Japanese version of the Hungry Caterpillar book. The last entertainment consisted of homemade candy suddenly raining down from the loft into the main area. Most of the kids loved it, scooping up as much as they could. permalinkmet shuhei Most surprising and magical for me was meeting an English speaking Japanese man who is in an industry similar to Mankind Project. Their brand is more specifically for leadership, and they have trainings, but no long term group programs like we do. I imagine we can figure out some way to support each other. permalinkprev day next day |
