Yesterday or maybe this morning I finished a relatively significant change to the AB site. Now they can edit some records which were never meant to be edited, just logged... but the logs are of human-driven changes and sometimes they have errors which need to be fixed, so they need to be fixed in the log as well. Fair enough!

Then got another request to log one more thing in that log. This thing is only available in a many-to-many linked table, but fortunately they only want the max value, so it's clear which one should be logged. Once I add it to the live site, they'll have 12 years of zeros in that field from not having logged it before.

left japanese class a bit early

Japanese class discussion ran a bit late and I felt anxious to prepare for work tomorrow so I left before the discussion had finished... it sounded like it would go easily at least 20 more minutes.

I can see Lin's concerns with the class; it's great in some ways but isn't really good for comprehensive learning. Gotta find a teacher / real class fo real.

mbp to get new parts

I'm planning to take my computer to Apple on Wednesday; I don't have an excellent replacement computer, but I'm hoping the old Dell will be enough.

Unfortunately I can't do Unity on the Dell. I'll try to install Unity on my old MacBook.
