Had just withdrawn $600 from an ATM in an urban part of the US. A young tough-lookin' man was walking in front of me through an underground tunnel sidewalk, but turned around like to ask questions; he was asking qestions of his other friends, and when I got outside and climbed up the outside of a jungle gym to get away from him, he was suddenly like, "I just broke my nose!" to his friends, although there had been no scuffle / shout-of-pain / nor anything like that. I believed he was lying to make a diversion in which he could relieve me of my cash, but I woke up before he could. Haha!

Chillin' with Kevin in a gently run-down hotel in Hakone after the first half of the Space Clearing workshop with Karen Kingston. I personally didn't get all that much out of it, but I greatly plan to go through the Clutter Clearing workshop handout from last week and clear the clutter from my crib.

Strictly speaking, part of the reason it's been slow goin' stems from the workshop being translated after every sentence, which is just part of the deal with workshops across languages.

U.S. not seeking permanent Iraq bases, ambassador says - International Herald Tribune

The United States ambassador to Iraq dismissed any suggestion on Thursday that the Bush administration was maneuvering to set up permanent military bases in Iraq.

Somehow, I think this doesn't accurately reflect reality.
